Fra livefight.com. Jeg gider eferhånden knap oversætte alle disse Froch interviews:
Livefight.com caught up with Carl Froch to see how camp and training in general was going ahead of his scheduled Monaco showdown with Arthur Abraham.
Froch, speaking from his Sheffield base, was upbeat and looking forward to the fight.
"Training has been going alright. I actually went on runs, hitting the bags and so forth as soon as I got back from Herning. I'm in lockdown at the moment. It's training or being a dad to my baby boy. Nothing else matters." said Carl.
We informed Froch of the many debates raging between boxing fans as to whom will come out victorious and what it felt like to be heading into another potential fight of the year candidate.
"It's going to be probably the best fight this year and I will be part of it." said Froch.
"There's going to be a lot of polls, arguments and debates about who will come out as top dog between me and Arthur. His fans will claim their man will knock me out - but once he's sent his best shots in and I'm still there, you'll see a different look on his face. What else can he do when that fails to seal the deal ?" said Froch.
"I've got a lot of support heading over for this one. Quite a few general boxing fans are making the effort to come and see me for the first time. They will not be disappointed. I'm letting it all hang out in Monaco."
We asked Froch what were going to be his travel arrangements for Monaco.
"Not sure on the exact plans for travelling out there. Will probably head out the week before the main event. Get relaxed and focused for the job in hand. Check out the venue and probably a bit of press and so forth. Then just step on the scales and then do the business."
